A DANGER TO HIMSELF AND OTHERS

Why does Jerry Falwell, a man that apparently has a lot of national influence, try to create policies on subjects that he knows nothing about. One of his lackey groups called Concerned Women for America influenced the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers and convinced them not to create a ".xxx" domain. It would have been a slow transition, but this would have, in the words of John C. Dvorak, "made it brain-dead easy to keep porn out of the American family home." Please read the Dvorak article. I think the moral majority really shot themselves in the foot this time.

Note- Before writing this, I did to a little fact checking

I have found the response that the group published. They vehemently defend their decision, but if you read their analysis it is obvious that they don't even have a rudimentary understanding of the way that internet filters work. The group also downplays their connection with Falwell, but a Google search will reveal that there are over 30,000 web pages that have the name Falwell connected with the name "Concerned Women for America."
