Independent Comment
This is an editorial that you won't find on any American media. I have no way of knowing if these opinions are accurate, but if they are all Americans should feel a little ashamed.

Independent Comment- Why I am not taking part in these phoney elections
Hell House
Hell House, directed by George Ratliff, is one of the most un-biased and objective (I know some don't like that word) documentaries I've ever seen. When you watch this video you will see from start to finish the implementation of a Pentacostal Hell House. There are cut scene interviews with key people, clips of the homelife of Pentacostals, and segments of Pentacostal worship services. The most interesting aspect of the film to watch for is the juxtaposition of faithful and sincere adults, who have chosen fear as a method to spread the message of Jesus, and spiritually immature and insensitive teenagers, who are oblivious to the gravity, seriousness and deep social implications found within their presentation.

Call them Mujihadeen instead of terrorists - User comments at DanielPipes.org
I found this on www.daneilpipes.org. I think this is a pretty interesting opinon. I would like to hear any comments.
Call them Mujihadeen instead of terrorists - User comments at DanielPipes.org: "Call them Mujihadeen instead of terrorists
User comment on article: [Beslan Atrocity:] They're Terrorists - Not Activists

Why don't we just call them what they call themselves - Mujihadeen (Islamic Holy Warriors)? They see this as a holy war, and have the fatwa's to back up their actions (including the killing of hundreds of innocent children).
Only when the west begins to see that this 'war on terrorism' as a war of culture and values that threatens the very foundation of western civilization will the west begin to make progress.
Having worked in Southern Sudan for six years - where I've seen the Mujihadeen demonstrate that they are fully willing to kill any or all 'infidels', including the beheading of young infidel children, with the blessings of their clerics and national leaders - I have little patience for the euphemism labelling them 'terrorists'.

Floating Logos
I found this site on Digg and it presents some art that needs to be seen. I'm not going to try to explain it, because you should see it for yourself.

Look at these Blogs...
I've got two blogs that you might want to check out.
The first blog, labeled at antistate, antiwar, and pro-Jesus is titled the Basement Cross. I found it while surfing on blog explosion and thought it was worth recommending.
The second blog I want to recommend it titled The Reach. It is brand new and put up by a university professor in Missouri. There's only one essay up so far, but it looks like it should be interesting.
-NEWSFLASH-
While I was typing this I just noticed on TV that C-SPAN is doing its weekly review of newpapers and they just flashed a tabloid up on the screen that proclaimed that "James Carville and Batboy are kin..." I always knew there was something funny about him... I'm talking about Batboy.

One of the coolest sites for reading tech news is Digg.com. It puts the placement of news in the hands of the users and not some sold out staff or dumb computer. To find out more about it...
