Popular conservative blogger Warner Todd Huston has lambasted Google for censoring Anti-Obama sites. My hypothesis is that Google hasn't done any censoring at all. A bunch of Democrats just came by and flagged the blog as spam. They are merely taking advantage of Blogger's spam finding system. If I had to bet, I would say that Google will fix the problem soon.

Actually, you're right. Newsbusters has updated their report to state that the fault is not Google's at all, but rather Obama hacktivists who used the anti-spam feature to "trick" Google into temporarily freezing the sites.
But does any of this even matter? Those Obama hacktivists may have temporarily tricked Google into shutting down seven anti-Obama blogs, but in response, as demonstrated by Newsbusters, conservative bloggers have been flooding cyberspace with a torrent of reporting and their own opinions on the story. In the end, who has really won the day?

I think they were only temporarily shut down. I imagine they will be back in operation as soon as Google finds out the trick.
